Treasury Specialist

Treasury Specialists work with a company's liquidity, or ability to turn investments into cash. A Treasury Specialist's job entailsmonitoring the purchase and sale of investments, evaluating financial records, and making recommendations on ways the company can save money towards their financial goals.

Cash Forecaster Key Responsibilities:

• Treasury cash management activities: Monitor and analyze the company's daily cash position to cover cash commitments and coordinate and optimize the short-term borrowing or investments, or assist in the execution of the daily cash management duties.
• Act as main resource for following Forecast activities:
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on the global cash position
  • Assist with the company's hedging program
  • Assist with short- and long-term intercompany settlements and transactions
  • Approve foreign exchange, wire transactions, and facilitate other credit line transactions
  • Support FX front office processes including loading FX trades and rates, maintaining settlement instructions.
  • Maintain positive banking relationships.
  • Work with treasury management to maintain and rationalize the company's choice of key global banks including the analysis of bank fee structures, services, relationships, credit levels and counterparty credit quality/exposure.
  • Assist other departments (e.g., audit, accounting) with quarter-end and ad-hoc information requests as needed.
• Support corporate accounting, corporate tax, financial planning, internal audit and other functions as they relate to treasury transactions and entity structures.
• Recommend and implement solutions to strengthen operational controls and incorporate best practices.
• Pool cash from all secondary bank accounts when necessary.
• Assist in executing standby letters of credit, export letters of credit, performance bonds and similar instruments.
• Support Treasury Operations on the daily resolution of issues.
• Back-up Confirmation & Settlement activities.
• Adhere to month-end cut-off schedules by cash department personnel for reconciliations of all cash-related accounts, all month-end processes, and all related journal entries.
• Troubleshooting: Assess problems quickly and provide the appropriate resolution steps with the least amount of end user interruption.
• Provide on-going consultancy and advice to the user community.
• Participate/support in Global Treasury Integration / Centering Projects
• Manage & ensure treasury operations processes are compliance with external & internal audit requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Business Finance, IT or related fields
• Minimum 3 Years of Experience in SAP TMS modules, SAP S/4 Hana and SAP ECC 6.0and Quantum.
• Treasury Confirmation and Settlements knowledge will be considered as a plus.
• Fluent in English
• Microsoft Office knowledge: Excel, Power Point, etc.
