Androscoggin Bank, a local community bank and certified B-Corp, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Treasury Services Officer to join our team. The Senior Treasury Services Officer will be a key member of our Business and Government Banking team and will be responsible for core deposit growth. CTP or CCM certification strongly preferred. We are looking for a person who has a proven track record of business development and building strong internal and external relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Solicits business from current and prospective customers directly via marketing, sales strategies, leads and referrals to develop new sources of fee income and to foster new and existing customer core deposit growth, including checking and savings account balances, merchant services, on-line banking and other related business depository products.
  • Works independently to establish new relationships and sources of fee income and refers prospects to business partners. Proactively calls jointly with commercial lenders and branch managers or independently to develop new deposit and fee relationships with businesses, and non-profit organizations in the Bank's market footprint that both do and do not currently have a relationship with the bank.
  • Assists with onboarding of new clients.
  • Develops a network of referral sources.
  • Coaches and develops Business Banking partners in the effective delivery of appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain high visibility within the market by involvement with community events and organizations.
  • Prepares effective, proposals, agreements and sales presentations that demonstrate an expert level of revenue cycle management.
  • Analyze clients' needs and recommend the appropriate products and services.
  • Participates in the development of new deposit and Treasury Management products as directed.
  • Informs and advises customers of status or enhancements to current account productivity, and suggests resolution on account disputes and other account activity. Stays up to date on current trends in the Treasury Management field and market conditions. Participates in local and online AFP activities.
  • Promotes and cross-sells other establishment products and services as appropriate to customer requirements.
  • Manages the largest and most complex business customers.
  • Ensures that their work is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines including but not limited to BSA, CIP, Red Flags, Know your customer and anti money laundering policies.
  • Complies with all banking related laws and regulations communicated to the employee through training and/or written correspondence and those requirements reflected in the Bank's policies and procedures applicable to the employee's duties and/or areas of responsibility. Protects all customer information and institution assets and complies with privacy and acceptable use policies.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CTP or CCM certification strongly preferred. Actively engaged in continuing professional education to maintain credentialing.
Other Qualifications:
  • Requires a minimum of ten years of related experience with a wide variety of bank products and services knowledge.
  • Proven experience successfully managing a /deposit portfolio in excess of $10 million.
  • Proven business development capabilities with ability to conceptualize and implement new business strategies/products.
  • Demonstrates proven and refined negotiation skills to be utilized on sales calls.
  • Previous experience with outside calling.
  • Represents bank in professional manner
  • Ability to cross-sell other bank products and services
  • Willingness to travel and work a flexible schedule to meet customer needs
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
