Description
  • Huntington is seeking an experienced Treasury Liquidity Manager to support the Treasury Liquidity – ILST team within Corporate Treasury. The qualified individual will be a leader on the team, support ILST model development and maintenance, and provide analytical insights Management within the Liquidity and Funding Team with a focus on internal liquidity stress testing (ILST), liquidity coverage ratio, and net stable funding ratio.
    Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the calibration, review, and development and maintenance of the ILST model and maintain associated documentation
  • Execute and analyze ILST model sensitivity testing and performance monitoring procedures
  • Participate in the ongoing enhancement of the ILST modeling processes, segmentation, assumptions calibration, and reporting capabilities
  • Coordinate across Treasury, Finance, Business Lines, and IT/Data teams for qualitative information and data requirements to support ILST modeling, assumptions calibration, and sensitivity testing
  • Support ongoing enhancement of ILST model and data in light of FR2052a, short-term and long-term cash flow forecasting, and ALM modeling processes and tools
  • Enhance forward-looking projections ILST modeling results
  • Track, manage, and remediate ILST findings from Model Risk Management, Liquidity Risk Oversight, Internal Audit, and regulators
  • Support liquidity risk limit calibration processes driven by ILST results and liquidity risk drivers measured by ILST
  • Review and challenge ILST results and period over period analysis for presentation to governance committees
  • Support development of methodology and process for calculating the contingent liquidity charge as part of the broader funds transfer pricing (FTP) framework
  • Lead analysis and reporting of liquidity coverage ratio and net stable funding ratio
  • Regularly participate in meetings with Senior Management, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and other key stakeholders
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidance regarding liquidity management (e.g., Reg. YY)
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of large bank experience with data analysis, SQL, Python, SAS or other programming languages
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics or other related field
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with multiple, competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, written and verbal
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to bring outcomes forward in a thoughtful manner and summarize complex business problems and analysis with clarity
  • Strong knowledge of financial institution balance sheets and interconnectivity with funding and liquidity management
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, SAS, or other programming languages
  • Advanced knowledge of Tableau a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of process automation tools a plus (e.g., Alteryx, Appian, Blue Prism)
