Provides customers with assistance and information on motor vehicle, property tax requirements and passport requirements and procedures. Responsible for acquiring the appropriate documentation and accurately collecting the proper fees for daily reconciliation of receipts. Position requires accuracy and the ability to pay close attention to detail and multi-task. Achieve and maintain annual certification for several computer programs and for Passport Agent eligibility.
High school diploma or equivalent plus two years of experience in bookkeeping, banking or equivalent combination of education/experience with customer service and money handling. Ability to receive money and make change, understand and carry out oral and written instructions and deal courteously, tactfully and diplomatically with the public.
Starting salary is $32,816 with full County benefits.
