Travelling Medical Assistant

We are looking for a professional, responsible, and self-motivated medical/chiropractic assistant to join our patient care team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting patients and escorting to exam rooms
• Answering phones
• Checking patients in and out
• Scanning and uploading paperwork
• Emails
• Helping patients with various therapies and diagnostic procedures
• Communicating with the practice providers in order to appropriately coordinate patient care
• Protecting patient privacy and confidentiality of patient information by complying with HIPAA regulations
• Maintaining appearance of the clinical rooms and therapy station
• Ordering, sorting, and storing supplies; restocking exam/procedure rooms
• Ensuring clinical workflow runs smoothly
• Assisting billing department
• Assisting intake team when needed
• Assisting both chiropractor and medical doctors with various treatment and diagnostic procedures.

• Strong computer and telephone (communication) skills
• Organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently, and ability to work as part of a team
• Competence with Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Sheets, and EHR
