Comprehensive Mobile Care, one of the leading nationwide supporters of dental, hearing, vision, and podiatry providers catering to U.S. seniors, has an opportunity for a Part-Time Optometrist to care for the vulnerable geriatric population.
An optometrist is needed to provide quality eye care to our seniors. Optometrist’s responsibilities include analyzing vision, identifying sight problems and prescribing corrective lenses and eyeglasses. The ideal candidate will provide a high level of quality care blended with compassion.
This opportunity is best suited for a professional looking to supplement their existing schedule and income while serving those in need. There is flexible scheduling and, in addition, you will be provided an assistant to handle all daily administrative responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Standard optometrist care for aged patients without any administrative duties
SKILLS
- Licensed optometrist in the state of AZ
- Ability to work for a minimum of 8-10 weekdays per month
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients

Pay: $800.00 per day
*Comprehensive Mobile Care will enter into an independent contractor relationship with all provider positions. Comprehensive Mobile Care will provide all administrative services on behalf of the independent contractor.Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage patients' overall health
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry practices and technologies
- Educate patients on proper eye care and preventive measures
Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry school
- Valid state license to practice optometry
- Strong knowledge of optometric principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in medical terminology, ophthalmology, and anatomy
- Familiarity with medical coding systems and billing procedures
- Understanding of physiology, vital signs, and ocular diseases
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
- Ability to perform eye exams using various diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
