SUMMARY: Seeking Laborers for commercial lighting retrofit and upgrade projects throughout the USA
JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist Technicians with lighting retrofits across the country
COMPENSATION: $18-22/hr. DOE + OUT-OF-TOWN BONUS + OVERTIME + PER DIEM
SUPPLEMENTAL PAY: Bonus pay
JOB Type: Full time + Overtime
BENEFITS: Compensation level DOE, Holiday pay, Vacation Pay, Paid time off, Clothing & Tool Allowances, 401(k), Health insurance, Dental insurance and Vision insurance (after 90 Days)
WORK LOCATION: Multiple locations in USA
TRAVEL: 75-90% (Must be able to travel up to 21 days at a time)
WORK SCHEDULE: May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.
JOB SKILLS YOU WILL LEARN:
- Understanding of current Electrical Code and Electrical Theory
- Read and interpret electrical layouts.
- Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings.
- Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.
- Position, maintain and install distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels and fuse enclosures.
- Install, replace, maintain and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment, install data cabling.
- Splice, join and connect wire to form circuits.
- Must be able to take direction and finish tasks.
- Ability to bend pipe, pull wire and terminate
- Correctly move or lift heavy objects.
- Comfortable with EMT, Rigid, PVC pipe and techniques for installation
- Comfortable with power up to 480V
- Use oral or written communication techniques.
- Adhere to company and customer safety procedures.
- Use hand or power tools.
- Operate scissor and boom type lifts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a dedicated hard worker
- Must pass a Drug Test prior to employment
- Provide legal documentation for I-9 Form and E-Verify
- Valid and clean Arizona Driver's License and dependable transportation
- Ability to pass background check
- Own Personal Hand Tools
- Available for day and night work.
- SAFETY CONSCIOUS
EDUCATION: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Driver's License (Required)
