Job Summary:
The Traveling Installer is responsible for installing a proprietary thermoplastic, epoxy or other concrete, decorative overlays over concrete for a fast-growing leader in concrete surfacing. This role will support the foreman to ensure installation efficiency. This includes duties such as
transporting necessary materials, prepping, installing, cleaning up each job site and helping to maintain a clean, organized warehouse. The position will be required to travel to individual jobsites, which varies depending on the project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Perform under the direction and supervision of the Foreman on a job site
● Load the necessary materials required onto work truck for each day’s duties
● Drive vehicles required to perform or travel to work, including vans, industrial trucks or vehicles pulling trailers/mixers
● Operating power and hand tools
● Prolonged use of Hilti, grinders, hammer drills and quickie saw
● Push and move around mixer, and wheelbarrows when full of materials
● Follow procedures for the use of chemical agents and pressure washing equipment, in order to prevent damage to surrounding surfaces and fixtures
● Cover all walking areas with protection such as plastic, cardboard or carpeting
● Chip, scrape, and grind high spots, ridges, and rough projections to finish materials, using Hilti chisels, power grinders, or hand tools
● Prime surface to prepare for bonding; fill holes and cracks
● Spread, level, and smooth materials, using rake, shovel, gauge rake, screed box and hand or power trowel
● Maintain a safe and clean job site as directed by the Foreman
● Repair any damage caused to the customer's property (painting, irrigation repairs)
● Clean and maintain all hand tools and power equipment used on site
● Understand and comply with all company policies and safety guidelines
● Organize and clean warehouse on a daily basis
● Clean and wash trucks regularly
Required Education and Experience:
● High school or equivalent
● General knowledge of operating hand and power tools
Preferred Education and Experience:
● Experience in troweling concrete, decorative overlays, terrazzo, or epoxy rock

● Background check is required

● Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull equipment, inventory and materials up to 100 pounds
● Must be able to hear commands from supervisors and back-up safety alarms on equipment
● Work is performed while standing, bending, squatting, climbing, reaching, kneeling, sitting and/or walking
● You must be physically fit and able to bend/kneel for long periods of time and work long days
● Requires repetitive physical activities for long periods of time such as climbing (in and out of trucks), stooping, kneeling, bending, and reaching over head
● Requires repetitive use of hands and wrists using power, rotational, and vibration tools
● Must be able to identify and assess information on computer screens, written reports and documentation and relay to team and/or clients
● Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing
● Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gasses
● Exposure to potentially harmful chemicals or materials
● Regular exposure to extreme weather conditions
