Sunbelt Staffing is looking for an Ultrasound Technologist travel job in Jacksonville, Texas. Travel experience is preferred, but newcomers are welcome to apply.This is a 13 week travel contract but possible extension may be available towards the end of the assignment.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification is required.
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Greet and prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure patient comfort and cooperation during the examination.
Ultrasound Imaging:
- Perform ultrasound examinations using various techniques to visualize and assess internal organs and tissues.
- Adjust and operate ultrasound equipment to obtain optimal imaging results.
Image Analysis:
- Analyze ultrasound images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
- Identify and document any abnormalities or concerns, and collaborate with radiologists for further evaluation.
