Job Description:

**$5,000 Sign On Bonus!**

This position travels the state of Michigan - possible coverage areas include: East Lansing, St. Johns, Jackson, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Niles.

Work Schedule Expectations:

  • Assignment Requirement #1 – Monday through Friday, Core Business Hours

Mileage Reimbursement:

  • All mileage paid for travel to and from assignment as well as appliable patient visit travel

Travel Stipends:

  • Clinician will receive weekly stipend to cover travel expenses but not limited to hotel, meals, travel, and fuel. 
  • Weekly stipend will be paid on the Friday prior to the travel week when possible.
  • Mileage paid:  $0.44 per business mile
  • Hotel per day stipend:  $138 (must meet threshold for overnight stay, i.e., 2+ travel hours from home one way)
  • Meal per day stipend: $60

Travel Home

  • Elara Caring will reimburse for travel home every 2 weeks while on assignment more than 2 hours from home
    • Travel home payments may include airfare and/or mileage
    • Airfare home should be scheduled in advance as to secure best rates for travel
    • Clinician will submit expenses using travel reimbursement above
  • During travel time home, travel stipends for hotel and meals will not be paid

Licensure Expectations:

  • Clinician must be licensed in all states for assigned region.  Add’l expenses for multiple states outside of home state may be submitted for expense reimbursement

Benefit Package Recommendations:

  • Bonus opportunities for 7+ consecutive days at an assigned location (We aren’t currently paying bonuses as we are paying a premium for the position)
  • Company Cell Phone
  • Company Car (if available)

Productivity Expectations:

  • Minimum 8 working hours per day at assigned location.  Point equivalent may be established for designated services lines, i.e., SHH – 6 points per day
  • AH or Daytime positions. For AH rotations- most do 7 on/7 off. For Daytime- would be M-F 8-5.
    • Stipends/travel home vary depending on AH or Daytime- For AH- traveler is allowed to go home for the 7 off and not paid stipend during that time. 
  • Core hours minimum for CTM and RN positions

What is Required?

  • Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing preferred
  • Current State License as a Registered Nurse RN
  • 1 year of experience in a clinical care setting
  • Experience in a hospice or Home Health environment is preferred
  • Passion for patient care
  • Reliable transportation to perform job tasks
  • 100% travel
