Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB Manager to join our team on a 13-week travel assignment in Globe, AZ. This unique opportunity involves a combination of clinical nursing responsibilities and administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse for 2x12-hour shifts per week in the OB department.
- Manage administrative tasks for 2x8-hour shifts per week, overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve departmental goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to patient care and administrative tasks.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, fostering a supportive and professional work environment.
- Participate in staff education and training programs as needed.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Arizona or compact state reciprocity.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in obstetrics nursing.
- Previous management or leadership experience preferred.
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
