Job Description
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license (RN) in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a travel nurse or similar role.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current healthcare practices.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different healthcare environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to travel and work in various locations for extended periods of time.
