Location: Bozeman, MT

Weekly Pay: $1,666, 24 guaranteed hours per week (overtime starts after 32 hours)

Shift: Days, 3x8s, no weekends

Contract length: 13 weeks

Position Summary:
As a Travel Radiation Therapist in Bozeman, MT, you'll play a crucial role in delivering radiation treatments to patients under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist. Your responsibilities will include localization of treatment areas and ensuring accurate administration of radiation therapy.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduated from an accredited Radiation Therapy school
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Three (3) years of experience in a similar role and familiarity with electronic health record operating systems

Essential Job Functions:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely
• Ensure all necessary documents for treatment are completed and maintained
• Perform simulations and simulation radiography to localize treatment areas and confirm treatment plans
• Educate patients about procedures on their first day of treatment
• Adhere to safety regulations regarding ionizing radiation for both yourself and patients, reporting any deviations to the Medical Physicist
• Attend weekly chart rounds and monthly department meetings
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Analyze, organize, and prioritize work effectively, meeting multiple deadlines
• Willingness to work varied shifts as scheduled and/or needed

Note: Candidates must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered for assignment. The facility reserves the right to cancel three (3) shifts per 13-week contract in the event of low census or other unforeseen circumstances.
