Join our esteemed medical facility in Jackson, Mississippi, dedicated to providing exceptional pediatric care. We are currently seeking a skilled Pediatric Echo Technician to join our team for a 13-week assignment, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare to our young patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiograms on pediatric patients following established protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely reporting of results.
  • Maintain equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the procedure.
  • Document procedures accurately and efficiently in medical records.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in pediatric echocardiography highly preferred.
  • Proficient in operating echocardiogram equipment and related technology.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate approach towards pediatric patients and their families.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Schedule:5x8 Days
  • Certifications: RCS/CCI or ARDMS
  • Do not have to have pediatric or fetal certification but do have to have CCI or ARDMS
  • EMR Systems: EPICSyngo dynamics
  • Do they have to start IV's? no
  • Shifts & Scheduling:8-430 M-F
  • Weekend Requirements: none
  • Holiday Requirements: non
