Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of busy 911 system Paramedic experience, OR
- 1+ year of busy 911 system EMT experience
- Current NREMT
- Current CA State Paramedic License
- AHA ACLS, PALS, BLS (PHTLS preferred)
- Current Immunizations (MMR, Hep B, TDAP)
- Negative TB test within the last 12 months
- COVID Vaccination (or waiver)
How travel Paramedicine works
BPM supplies high-value low friction Travel Paramedics to ambulance services in need of short-term staffing support. Assignments are generally ninety days up to one year. Travelers work and integrate into the system's schedule, clinical expectations, and are under the day-to-day supervision of the client's team. To qualify as a Travel Paramedic candidates must complete an intensive screening and testing process. In general Travel Paramedics who earn a spot on the team will have to opportunity to accept three to four multi-month of assignments per year.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor conditions in a non-smoking environment. Requires lifting up to 70 pounds and carrying up to 50 pounds. BPM does not discriminate.
