Sunbelt staffing isseeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room nurseto join our team on a travel basis in Pocatello, Idaho.

Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
- CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 2years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse.
- Experience in a hospital setting is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Preoperative Preparation: Prepare the Operating Room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning correctly. Verify patient identity, surgical site, and procedure.
Assessment and Monitoring: Assess patients' physical and psychological status before surgery and continuously monitor their vital signs and responses during the procedure.
Sterile Technique: Maintain a sterile field in the Operating Room, ensuring adherence to aseptic principles. Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies.
Medication Administration: Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the anesthesiologist and surgeon. Monitor patients' reactions to medications and adjust care as necessary.
