Cardiovascular Operating Room Travel Registered Nurse Job
Cardiovascular Operating Room registered nurses (CVOR RN) are key members of the cardiovascular surgical team. As a CVOR travel registered nurse, you will be responsible for managing the care of patients during a cardiac surgical procedure that requires moderate to complex assessments, interventions and levels of nursing vigilance.
CVOR - RN Qualifications:
- Active RN license in specified state
- RN degree from an accredited registered nurse program
- BLS required, and ACLS preferred
- Strong knowledge of all cardiac operative procedures
- One year of recent experience as an RN in a cardiovascular Operating Room environment and two years of RN experience
CVOR Registered Nurse Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide patient assessment, monitoring the patient’s physical and emotional wellbeing
- Create and maintain a sterile/safe surgical environment
- Provide patient and family education
- Integrate and coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process
