Travel Nurse Aide Instructor/Clinical Educator

Guardian Healthcare is looking for a TravelNurse Aide Instructor/Clinical Educator to mentor and teach candidates our state certified Nurse Aide curriculum as well as to develop and implement clinical education programs, competencies, and manage onboarding process into the Guardian culture. This position would alternate trainings in the Erie and Titusville areas.

This position is responsible to be on site to instruct the theory, lab, and clinical portions of the 129 hours Nurse Aide class, working with 6-10 students at a time when a class is in session, as well as to educate facility staff on clinical skills, policies, processes, and CPR certification as needed. The instructor will also follow the students and provide support through the state examination process.

What you need as a Nurse Aide Instructor/Clinical Educator

• Current RN license without limitations
• Two years' experience as an RN with at least one year in long-term care
• TTE (Teaching the Educator) certificate and CHRI acceptable in accordance with P.L. 169 of 1997 preferred but will assist the right candidate with certification
• Approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education
• Ability to work independently and with minimal direct supervision
• BSN preferred
• Willingness to obtain American Heart Association CPR Instructor status
• Frequent and overnight travel will be required to all GHC locations
• Day and evening hours availablity as needed for class schedules
