Sunbelt is looking for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse for a travel position in Aurora, Colorado.If you are interested in this position, apply today!
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN or ASN).
- Current and valid nursing license in the state of practice.
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to premature and critically ill infants in the NICU.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and respond promptly to changes in status.
- Implement and maintain specialized equipment used in the care of newborns.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in daily rounds and contribute to care planning meetings.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure coordinated and cohesive patient care.
