Work Schedule:
- 16/24 hours per week (Part Time) (Day Shift)
- Clinic is open Monday - Saturday
- One Saturday per month as needed
- Training first two (2) weeks of employment (30 hours 1st week, 20-30 hours 2nd week)
Site Locations: DT San Francisco, CA
Job Duties:
- Utilize proper travel medicine and general medicine processes to provide immunizations and travel health counseling in a safe and effective manner.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and safe service to patients and clients.
- Diligently participate in the company’s training to ensure up to date knowledge of travel medicine and vaccination.
- Adhere to safety protocols as set by the company’s medical directives and regulations.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Participate in off site Influenza and wellness clinics.
- Practice appropriate storage and handling of vaccines, maintains inventory and participates in the inventory control process.
- Accept delivered packages which includes but not limited to carrying and lifting vaccine boxes.
- Ensure that clinic and storage areas are clean and well organized.
- May be responsible for meeting and unpacking packages, vaccines, furniture and fixtures during clinic set up.
- Responsible for organization and maintenance of clinic space to facilitate smooth client flow.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- One year experience with travel medicine and clinic experience (preferred)
- Previous experience working in travel Medicine, either in a private clinic or Public Health setting
- Candidates with experience in providing travel health consults, with sound knowledge of travel vaccinations and medications for travelers diarrhea, malaria, altitude illness and world geography will be considered
- Ability to follow Medical Directives in order to safely administer vaccines and dispense medications to comply with Passport Health Standard of Care
- Must have excellent computer skills

- Ability to complete assigned tasks without detailed supervision
- Flexible and able to communicate using a mobile device
License/Certification:
- Registered Nurse (License Required)
- First Aid/CPR (Required)
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
Ability to commute/relocate:
- San Francisco, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Must be willing to travel to other clinics in the area
- Access to a vehicle (Preferred)
Working conditions:
- Clinic setting
- Autonomous work environment
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computers and peripherals
- Intermittent physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, lifting and supporting patients
- Ensures the clinic and storage room is clean and well organized
- Moves and restructures organization of storage room to make space for new inventory
