Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our talented team. As a Registered Nurse (RN) at WTCP, you will have the opportunity to contribute to patient care and improve their outcomes. The Intensive Care Unit provides direct care or influences care for acutely/critically ill patients who are at high risk for actual or potential life-threatening health problems. The ICU provides care through advanced knowledge and experience in a setting that provides intensive monitoring, assessments, and interventions.

• The location is in Corvallis, OR, United States
• The working schedule for this role is Days (0700-1930) rotating weekends.
• The duration is for a contractor for 13 weeks
• The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
• Holiday coverage is required
• 36 hours guaranteed

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports
• Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions
• Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments
• Recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests
• Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions
• Administering non-intravenous medications
• Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
• Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or master degree in nursing preferred
• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the appropriate unit for this role
• Pass the National Council Licensure Examination or NCLEX-RN
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR
• ACLS, PALS and TNCC certification preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff
• Basic computer skills
• Professional, friendly attitude
