Requirements
- Valid dental hygiene license in North Dakota
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or other similar systems
- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile working environment
- Document patient treatment plans, progress, and notes in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or other similar systems
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean dental office environment

ABOUT THE FACILITY
Opened in October 2011, this state-of-the-art health care facility has long been promoted by the Three Affiliated Tribes as fulfillment of promises made during the flooding of Garrison Dam in the 1950s. It's a Tribally owned Ambulatory Care clinic with on-site services such as Lab, Pharmacy, Radiology, Women's Health, Pediatric Care, Behavioral Health, and Optometry. Four field clinics located in Twin Buttes, Mandaree, Parshall, and White Shield. Each field clinic has a provider, nurse, pharmacy tech, and support staff. Other associated clinics include Dental and Diabetes Programs.
