Cardiac Cath Lab Tech needed for a travel assignment in Snellville, Georgia.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field.
• Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent.
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities:

1. Procedure Preparation and Set-Up:

   • Prepare and set up the catheterization laboratory for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
   • Ensure all necessary equipment, supplies, and instrumentation are available and functioning properly.

2. Assistance During Procedures:

   • Assist cardiologists and other healthcare providers during catheterization procedures, including angiography, angioplasty, and stent placement.
   • Operate imaging equipment to visualize and capture high-quality diagnostic images in real-time.

3. Patient Care and Monitoring:

   • Position patients for Cath Lab procedures, providing comfort and maintaining safety.
   • Monitor patients throughout procedures, assessing vital signs, and responding promptly to any changes.
