Travel Agent (In-Store Sales - Experience Required)

• Convenient Store Hours: Monday - Friday, 8AM to 6PM, and Saturday, 8AM to 3PM (37.5 hour work week, no Sundays)

The primary duties of a Travel Agent are:

• Sell international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, air travel, car and hotel
• Educate our clients on preferred travel products and services offered by the Agency
• Successfully meet or exceed goals through relationship development with our members as well as growing your client base through new business referrals
• Cross-sell relevant products to enhance the travel experience such as the AAA Travel Advantage Visa Credit Card
• Prepare and process relevant travel documents and invoices in an organized and efficient manner.
• Comply with and remain educated on current Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC) regulations and AAA Club Alliance policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (a graduate of an accredited travel school preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years sales Experience Required; Travel Industry and/or personal travel experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient computer skills including the ability to multitask in several websites and programs
• Knowledge of Geography and current world events
