Job Description
CBH is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced therapist to serve as the sole practitioner for our Trauma Track. As a Full-Time Trauma Therapist, you will take the lead in providing specialized trauma-informed care to our clients, and we highly value candidates who are EMDR certified.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership:
- Spearhead and exclusively manage the Trauma Track, providing comprehensive trauma-informed therapy services.
- Independently carry a caseload comprising clients with trauma diagnoses, ensuring individualized and effective treatment.
- Collaborate with other staff members for interdisciplinary case consultations.
- Direct Clinical Services:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify trauma-related issues and formulate accurate diagnoses.
- Deliver individual, family and group therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based therapies with a focus on EMDR.
- Develop and execute treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with ACHA, DCF and Insurance regulations.
- Community Engagement:
- Foster relationships with community organizations and agencies to enhance referral networks and support holistic client care.
Qualifications:
- Fully licensed as a therapist in the state of Florida, with a minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
- Specialization in trauma-focused therapy, with EMDR certification highly preferred.
- Ability to independently manage a caseload comprising clients with trauma diagnoses.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dedication to staying current on the latest developments and best practices in trauma therapy.
