Summary of Position:
Will be under the direct supervision of the District Manager and/or Forest Manager. Responsible for holding a CDL A license and facilitating trash disposal at various campgrounds on a weekly basis and extra pick ups when necessary during busy times.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and dispose of trash from the campgrounds in the Salida and Leadville Districts that are operated by the company
- Respond to requests for special pick ups during peak/busy times
- Pick up and drop off Trash Truck from rental company
- Maintain Trash Truck in operating condition and notify management if there are any repairs that need to be made
- Conduct safety inspections on a daily basis and notify management of any safety concerns
Requirements:
- Must have or able to receive a CDL A license to operate a Trash Truck
- Must be a positive team player with a can-do attitude
- Must be organized and able to adhere to schedules
- Must represent the Company and Park/Forest in a professional manner by wearing a company uniform, name badge, etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
