Summary: Enru Logistics and Postal Optimization is looking for a Resolution Specialist. This role sits in Bolingbrook, IL. This role is responsible for identification, tracking, and resolution of all transportation related exceptions that may occur through the shipping/delivery process; including but not limited to, overages, shortages, damages, paperwork issues, delivery refusals, and other related exceptions that can hinder a shipment from delivery to consignee. This position requires detailed tracking of issues and relevant communications to impacted and involved parties.
Responsibilities:

• Work with Truckload / Less-than-Truckload (LTL) vendors to resolve any OS&D related exceptions. Includes but is not limited to, working with origin locations, customer service representatives and other team members through Logistics in order to obtain resolution.
• Verify, approve, and track all related expenditures incurred during the OS&D resolution process.
• Field calls and emails from carriers, shippers, consignees.
• Escalate any issues that cannot be resolved in a timely manner to the appropriate parties (if necessary).
• Perform root cause analysis to assess and determine responsibility for OS&D issues.
• Secure and distribute delivery documentation such as 8125-CD's and bill-of-ladings.
• Creates and maintains system level data to accurately track and resolve issues related to the status of freight.
• Establishes and promotes excellent customer relations with various transportation providers.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Job Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to follow company policy and understand any rules or regulations governing the work being completed and the impact work has on department or company.
• Must have very good knowledge of technology to include computers and software programs such as MS Office word processing, spreadsheets or other programs specific to the job in order to complete duties successfully.
• Requires good knowledge of multiple functions or areas of the business in which there is frequent contact while completing daily work assignments of the job.
• Must have very good oral and written communication skills sufficient to explain departmental policy, methods and/or procedures when completing assignments.
• Requires very good organizational skills sufficient to accomplish work by established deadlines and ability to coordinate phases of work with others.

Qualifications:
Based on the technical and professional responsibilities of the position, the Carrier Implementation Specialist is required to have:

• HS diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of relevant administrative/operational support in logistics operations/support or office environment directly related to the duties of the job or demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of work experience.
