Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Transportation CADD Tech IV we'll count on you to:
Create designs independently under broad direction from the Project Engineer or Project Manager on various design projects
Direct preparation of drawings by other BIM Technicians of lesser experience, or take direct supervisory responsibility for BIM staff as needed
Complete projects with distinctive design features differing significantly from BIM Technician precedents as needed
Work with clients or contractor representatives as needed
Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications
Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
A minimum of 10 years of experience with civil engineering/site development projects
Requires extensive knowledge of BIM, design development, construction documents, technical and engineering knowledge
Requires a good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation, Inroads, ProjectWise, LDD, construction documents and technical aspects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to gather, organize and interpret data for process monitoring or business case development
Oral and written communication skills
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop experience
Understanding of conveyance and collection piping systems, profile development, and site grading are a must
Experience with design of pumping stations and water treatment facilities a plus
Understanding of railroad engineering skills
Strong Experience with Highway design, street design, drainage and PSR/PR
Experience with Bentley products such as ProjectWise is a plus
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
