Location: Lenoir
Program: Foothills Regional Treatment Center
Hours: Varied; Shifts available daily 10am-2pm and 4pm-8pm
Compensation: $12-14 per hour
Essential Job-Related Responsibilities

• Transport program passengers in company vehicle to and from designated locations including Asheville, Marion, Wilkesboro, Lenoir, and others as required.
• Ensure all passengers are secured with safety belts prior to driving vehicle.
• Monitor passengers during transit for the purpose of maintaining order and ensuring the safety of the passengers.
• Fuel assigned vehicle for the purpose of maintaining vehicle in safe operating condition.
• Prepare and complete all necessary documentation, including vehicle travel logs, incident reports, and miscellaneous paperwork/reports within required timeframes as requested.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle (e.g. fluid levels, tire pressure, exterior condition, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operating condition of the vehicle and meeting state requirements.
• Maintain assigned vehicles, both interior and exterior (e.g. cleaning floors/windows/seats. Etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safety, appearance, and sanitation of vehicle.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalency preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record, as determined by the Company
• Auto insurance and transportation
• Health Care Experience Preferred

Pre-employment screening:

• Complete criminal background
• Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
• Drug testing
• Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
• Proof of employment history or references (if required)
• Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
