We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport - Driver to join our DO&CO Family in Redondo Beach, CA.

What you will do:
Complete transportation activities between the main production facility and other locations such as but not limited to: Airport, Vendors and as well as schedule vehicles to move goods or people.
A day as a Driver:
- Transportation of meals, meal carts, and any equipment needed between our main facilities, third party vendors, and LAX airport
- Must load/unload aircraft according to airline regulations, specifications and equipment handling
- Ensure flights are catered correctly at all times
- Cater to DO & CO’s client’s airlines and handle airlines equipment expeditiously and safely
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook
- Comply with all LAX, CBP, DOT and all other applicable rules/regulations
- Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
- Ensures all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and reports any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
- Upkeep and maintain food safety
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a CDL Driver
- Valid commercial driving license type A or B
- Requirements necessary to obtain a LAWA Airport ID with a Drivers Icon and CBP Icon
- Ability to manage through a substantial workload
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds
- Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet
- Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
- Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time in order to meet strict deadlines
- Flexibility (different shifts –days, nights, weekends, holidays)
- Hourly Wage: $23.50
