Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Transmission Rebuilder to join our team. As a Transmission Rebuilder, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding transmissions in various vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency with both hand and power tools.

Duties:

- Diagnose transmission issues and determine the appropriate repairs or rebuilds needed

- Disassemble and inspect transmissions to identify damaged or worn parts

- Replace or repair damaged components such as gears, bearings, seals, and clutches

- Reassemble transmissions using proper techniques and torque specifications

- Test rebuilt transmissions to ensure proper operation and performance

- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks as needed

Skills:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of transmission systems

- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, and pliers

- Experience with power tools such as impact wrenches and air ratchets

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose transmission issues effectively
