ACES' Reliability Engineering team seeks a dedicated engineer passionate about transmission strategy and planning! Electricity is fundamental to American life, and ACES plays a critical role in ensuring its reliable delivery. As a key player supporting 23 Generation and Transmission Cooperatives across America, you'll be responsible for handling technical engineering requests and conducting Deliverability and Interconnection Studies. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in power system modeling, transmission/distribution planning, and contingency analysis. Additionally, you'll enhance your expertise in power system analysis software, including Power System Simulator for Engineering (PSSE) and Transmission Adequacy & Reliability Assessment (TARA). The ideal candidate would have experience in two or more of the areas listed below:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering technology, experience will be considered in lieu of degree along with consideration for Associate Degrees in similar fields of study
- Experience with power system modeling, transmission/distribution planning, state estimation, contingency analysis, or related electric utility electrical engineering work experience
- Experience with NERC standards and compliance such as MOD, PRC, and TPL Reliability Standards
- Knowledge of power system analysis software, such as PSSE, PSLF, TSAT, VSAT, TARA
- Ability to write computer language scripts to automate processes

Pay: $84,900.00 - $110,000.00 per year
