Thrive West Central is seeking a Dispatcher to join our team who can contribute to an On-Demand Transit Service by scheduling and coordinating senior and disabled transportation services. In addition, the Dispatcher enters client information in various computer-based systems (Excel, EasyRides™, etc.) and performs clerical duties, vehicle inspections, and dispatching. The ideal candidate is expected to work collaboratively with the Associate Director of Transportation and the Transit Vehicle Operators to provide excellent customer service and brand safety with each interaction.
Daily tasks will include: (but are not limited to)
- Scheduling trips for customers as requested by phone, mail, and e-mail. Provide information about the department to customers by phone, mail, and e-mail.
- Communicate with drivers by radio or phone to ensure timeliness of pick-ups and return trips.
- Maintain current and future vehicle schedules for all areas served by transportation services.
- Maintain a current listing of all passengers utilizing the service(s) and any relevant rider information for emergency/medical services.
- Data entry for all records of the transportation department.
- Perform in a fast-paced and stressful environment while maintaining a professional demeanor and establish and maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted during the course of work.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a responsible and safe manner.
- Physical ability to squat, bend, kneel, frequently stand, and sit in a vehicle for extended periods.
- Maintain strict confidentiality on organizational operations when necessary and confidentiality on projects and client information; bound by HIPAA.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $16.00 per hour
