πŸ“œ Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment:
  • Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
  • Prioritize patient needs and coordinate care.
  • Care Delivery:
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide interventions.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Emergency Response:
  • Attend to trauma and emergency cases, ensuring swift action and adherence to protocols.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain clear, concise, and accurate patient records in the electronic health system.
  • Patient and Family Education:
  • Guide patients and families regarding treatment plans, potential risks, and post-discharge care.
  • Continuous Learning:
  • Participate in training, workshops, and seminars to maintain current knowledge in the field.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work cohesively with physicians, paramedics, and other nursing staff for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Adherence to Protocols:
  • Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.

  • Licensure/Certifications:
    • Valid Registered Nurse licensure from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners or a compact license.
    • Must-have certifications: ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association.
    • Get geared with TNCC and ENPC (or AHA's PALS certification) within 18 months of diving in with us.
  • Education: The golden standard? A BSN! But passionate ADNs, we're looking at you too.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 vibrant years in acute ER settings.
