FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: M-F 0700-1530

Position Summary

The Transcription Tech is responsible for processing of transcribed medical reports to include printed documentation to the medical record and electronic filing to the electronic medical record. Performs detailed and complex workflow procedures, as well as basic clerical functions to include heavy telephone contact. This is an entry-level position. Work situations are routine, require organization, attention to detail, good phone skills and good customer service skills. Internal contacts include patient-care staff and management. External contact includes physicians and other health-care providers.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Minimum one (1) year previous office experience
• Basic computer skills to include Word and electronic mail

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $18.09 - $24.72 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
