Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Transactional Specialist to join the Global Shared Services team. As a Transactional Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various transactional processes within the organization. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

  • Investigate and analyze transactional discrepancies, errors and issues reported by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for working inquiries that are assigned to them with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve transactional issues in a timely manner.
  • Clearly communicate with relevant parties to provide updates on the status of troubleshooting efforts and coordinate resolution actions.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements during all transactional activities.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient solutions to streamline transactional workflows.
  • Identify root causes of transactional problems and assist in developing effective solutions (if not already developed)
  • Work on special projects, as assigned.

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in transactional roles (i.e., purchasing or invoice processing)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment and grasp new concepts quickly.
  • Ability to effectively navigate unknown territories, independently find solutions and prioritize effectively.
  • Effectively utilize available resources to solve problems.
  • NICE TO HAVE: Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including SMART by GEP, Jira Service Management, S4

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
