We are looking for an organized, helpful, EXTREMELY detail-oriented, and independent learning-based leader. You will manage real estate transactions from listing taken to pending to closing. You’ll work to make sure home inspections are arranged, assist with escrow documentation, schedule inspection appointments, and repairs, and ensure offers and counteroffers are approved. Compensation:

  • Salary Base - $70,000 (includes $300 monthly insurance stipend)
  • Paid vacation time

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee input of client information into the client database system, track transaction activities and submit each necessary document to the office broker for file compliance
  • Schedule home inspections and any necessary repairs, and assist in negotiations regarding repairs
  • Oversee all administrative tasks regarding home buyer and seller transactions from executed purchase agreement to close
  • Obtain the seller’s approval for seller’s/buyer’s offers and counteroffers to ensure the transaction process goes as quickly as possible
  • Oversee the arrangement of the closing process, including moving schedules
  • Manage pre-listing, transaction management, post-closing systems and past client communication
  • Keep lead agents informed regarding any problems or issues that need to be handled
  • Implement projects from agents as needed
  • Consult & provide customer service for clients, negotiate inspection responses, and handle all closing issues
  • Manage & develop vendor relationships
  • Elevate the team and office logistics
  • Oversee contracts through closing
  • Expand the database through exceptional experiences
  • Ensure unity of brand, messaging, and style across all communication mediums
  • Consolidate information after the contracts are signed to ensure coordination with all contractors to meet the Listing deadline
  • Consistently communicate with all clients and contractors 

Management Responsibilities:

  • Manage yourself and your schedule. Find ways to improve the team’s systems.
  • Create & maintain the manual on “How to be a Transaction Manager”. This may lead to future leadership opportunities

Maintain communications with:

  • Agent(s)
  • Title company
  • Lenders
  • Clients
  • Other parties as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and implement effective operations
  • Show up as a leader, with broad oversight, moving beyond singular tasks
  • Innovative problem solver, with the ability to anticipate and proactively address complex issues
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Has an active Michigan real estate license, or willing to obtain within a specified timeframe
  • Exceptional organizational & project management abilities

  • Tech savvy; up-to-date with the latest office gadgets and applications and able to navigate new systems quickly
