GP Strategies Corporation has an immediate need for aTraining/Learning Manager Dallas, Texas. This position is a full-time, benefitted position and will be hybrid (2 days a week in office, 3 days remote). We are looking for someone that can come into the office 2 days a week but also has the flexibility to come in more often or change days if needed for meetings, etc. 

Job Summary:

The Training/Learning Manager serves as a single point of client contact demonstrating ownership, accountability, and curiosity resulting in excellent customer focus, operational rigor, and continuous improvement. The industry we are serving is in training administration. Therefore, a background in training (i.e. training administration, LMS) is ideal. This person will have approximately 5 direct reports.

We are looking for a thought leader with a strategic mindset using technical acumen, program management, and communication skills to problem solve, challenge the status quo, and align teams to deliver high-value outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Consult with clients and collaborate with team members to help identify operational and strategic training support

  • Monitors service level agreement achievement and takes appropriate action on corrections required

  • Oversight of the corrective and preventative action process ensuring sustainable solutions are implemented. Investigate root causes of issues and make proposals for process improvement.

  • Develop and nurture client relationships; maintain positive working relationships to understand customer's goals, objectives, and direction

  • Manages and works on key customer projects

  • Liaison between client and GP team related to process changes, policy changes, customer service issues, and personnel changes; and assist in issue resolution

  • Support financial account management including forecasting revenue and cost, forecasting and tracking of expected/actual billings for the customer budget, and oversight to the GP financial processes for vendor contracting and payment.

  • Manage a team of approximately 5 training administrators.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a management, project management, account management, and/or operations management role

  • Experience with customer relationship management

  • Experience with managing direct reports preferred

  • Experience in the Training/Learning and development industry preferred

  • Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) and/or HR System technologies preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
