TRAINING PROFESSIONAL - Nuclear - 238882 & 238883 – SRS

TWO (2) Positions - Round 2

Deadline: 12-06-2023

Duration: 1 Year Contract with a ONE (1) 1-Year Renewal Option Period

US Citizenship is required.

JOB SUMMARY

Duties:

Provide training support for Liquid Waste in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of assigned instructional programs in accordance with approved Training Program Descriptions and Training Plans. Analyzing, assessing, extracting, and converting training content from technical/administrative documents or Subject Matters Experts into relevant instructional material meeting organizational standards. Obtaining Drill Controller qualification within two months of employment and maintaining qualification throughout the contract period. Obtaining OJT/JPM Instructor/Evaluator qualification within three months of employment and maintaining qualification throughout the contract period. Obtaining Instructor qualifications in a designated Liquid Waste operating facility within six (6) months. Presenting lesson materials at the instructional level or method established by Operations and Training Management.

Education:

Bachelor Degree (OR) Associate Degree (OR) High School Diploma with proven experience in “Training and Education” will be considered.

Experience/Skills:

Eight (8) years of verifiable experience as a training professional in a nuclear environment.

Experience in “Training or Education” with courses that focus on instructional analysis, design, development, delivery and testing, as well as evaluation of training programs will have strong consideration and is preferred.

Demonstrated skill and understanding of the ADDIE process and working knowledge of DOE Order 426.2 is preferred.

Previous training experience at the Savannah River Site – SRS, and familiarization with the SRS Manual 4B requirements will also be highly considered.

The candidate must be skilled in Microsoft® Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Knowledge and experience developing e-learning products using state-of- the-art software is essential.

Specialized knowledge in Waste Certification and Hazardous Materials Management in the nuclear industry is preferred.

Knowledge and experience developing and conducting simulator training is also preferred.

Work Hours:

A 40-hour work week is scheduled. The position will be on 4/10 schedule (10 hours/day; four days per week), Work week excludes SRS holidays. Each workday has a 30-minute lunch.
