As a Technical Training Project Manager at Stryker, you will be proud of the work that you will be doing, using cutting-edge technologies to make healthcare better. As a member of the technical training team, you will work with the business to facilitate the planning and implementation of training, identify trends, assess needs, generate/distribute metrics, maintain procedures, monitor effectiveness, enable process improvement, and support NC/CAPA activities for training compliance. This role may also periodically conduct training for managers, process owners, and SME trainers. What you will do:

  • Partner with managers, process owners and subject matter experts to assess training needs for their functional area(s) of responsibility; assist in translating needs into training requirements/solutions.
  • Provide training process and training system knowledge to the business.
  • Complete training workflow tasks within the Change Control process to ensure accurate training is being planned and assigned in SLMS when new or revised documents are released.
  • Partner with various functional groups (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, Compliance, HR, etc.) to incorporate functional-based training programs into the role-based curriculums, as appropriate.
  • Develop and lead processes to ensure accurate role-based training is assigned and evaluated periodically.
  • Empower managers and process owners on their responsibilities within the training process, provide tools and resources to enable and sustain their success.
  • Support, or own, actions for NC/CAPAs related to training outcomes or the training process.

What you need:        

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline required
  • Knowledge of training needs analysis, instructional/program design, development and evaluation, adult learning concepts and learning methodologies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry with knowledge of manufacturing standards and practices, including quality and compliance issues.
  • Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) and ISO 13485 regulations.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation techniques in both individual/1:1 and group settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence management, business groups, and Subject Matter Expert (SMEs) toward a recommended action.
  • Proven track record for designing, deploying, and managing training initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS, Cornerstone, Windchill or onePLM preferred)

$83,000 - $153,200 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data.  Actual minimum and maximum may vary based location.  Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
