Job description

To improve the productivity of the organization’s employees. Responsible for the effective development, coordination and presentation of training and development programs for all employees. To assess company-wide development needs to drive training initiatives and to identify and arrange suitable training solutions for employees. To actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance. To implement Hiller policies and procedures, ensure safe and efficient delivery of services, and continued improvement through training.

  • Create a positive internal customer experience and improve the productivity, knowledge base, and skill set
  • of employees through the development and instruction of comprehensive training programs.
  • Responsible for the effective development, coordination, and presentation of training programs for all employees.
  • Assess company-wide development needs to drive training initiatives and to identify and arrange suitable training solutions for employees.
  • Actively search, creatively design, and implement effective methods to educate, enhance performance, and recognize performance.
  • Partner with the Process Control Manager to implement Company policies and procedures.
  • Work with the Process Control Manager to maintain up to date training documents, such as user manuals, standard operating procedures, training materials, and assessments.
  • Ensure consistently safe and efficient delivery of services continued improvement through training.
  • Maintain neutrality, respect the wisdom of the group, and stay focused on the agenda.
  • Research curriculum actively and remain up to date on developments within the industry and competitors.
  • Remain up to date with current training methods and best practices to facilitate training employees.
  • Partner with company leaders to determine training development needs of staff.
  • Measure employee's information retention by issuing assessments and quizzes on course materials.
  • Design team and individual courses, maintaining records of curriculum and materials and gathering feedback on the quality of trainings from trainees, instructors and managers.
  • Assist in the development of technical training initiatives.
  • Assist in the implementation of a company-wide online learning platform.
  • Review problem areas and assist in the identification of training needs.
  • Plan, organize, facilitate, and order supplies for employee training events.
  • Perform special projects and ad hoc responsibilities as requested by leadership.
  • Maintain confidentiality of business issues and concerns.
  • Always maintain a courteous demeanor with employees.
  • Always maintain a professional image by wearing company approved apparel.
  • Abide by all standards of performance and ethics.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
  • Experience in designing & facilitating technical training programs preferred.
  • Ability to inspire, encourage, and motivate the group to provoke solutions and creative ideas Instructional
    experience in a group setting.
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to lead by example and foster mentoring relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Suite.
  • Function in a team environment.
  • Willing to continue training for personal growth as well as participating in the training of new employees.
  • Valid driver’s license and approved to drive by Company’s insurance carrier.

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment.
  • Travel to other branch locations as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Mobility required to facilitate education programs throughout the organization.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer and related equipment.
  • Occasionally lift 5-10 pounds.
  • Have good visual acuity and sufficient auditory functioning to operate personal computer and related communications equipment.
  • Ability to work extended hours, nights or weekends when needed.
