Training Coordinator

FULL-TIME [Nonexempt] : 40 hours
Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) seeks a talented Training Coordinator to contribute their expertise in providing essential business services to our provider organizations and customers. The Training Coordinator will develop and implement a comprehensive community training and education plan for behavioral health providers and other professional stakeholders. This position will also develop a social marketing and strategic communications plan to support a system of care approach and provide non-clinical training to build the capacity of families, providers, and natural supports.
CCSI is partnering with the Onondaga County Department of Children and Family Services to hire a Training Coordinator. This position is employed by CCSI and working on behalf of the Onondaga County Department of Children and Family Services.
In this role, you will be
- Leading community needs assessment regarding workforce development
- Developing and implementing a training and education plan for the mental health-related workforce
- Developing a communications plan and social marketing campaign that will ensure an effective, consistent flow of information between the system of care and community stakeholders, including family members and youth from diverse cultural backgrounds and communities
- Developing and implementing anti-stigma and awareness campaigns to increase awareness of the importance of mental health services and supports
- Coordinating and providing non-clinical training for community stakeholders and natural supports
- Ensuring that training, communications, and marketing plan and implementation, as well as project outreach efforts, are culturally and linguistically competent
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in human services or another related field, or equivalent education and work experience
Additional Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of all required background screenings.
- Demonstrated success in social marketing/ communications initiatives
- Experience in providing training to youth and adult audiences
- Experience with data collection methods, such as focus groups, experience analyzing and reporting on data.
