Job description

On behalf of the Governor, the Office of the State Employer directs and develops statewide labor relations policy to foster fair and equitable treatment of all State of Michigan employees, negotiates and administers collective bargaining agreements, provides guidance and training, and delivers programs that cultivate employee success.

This position serves as the Training and Advocacy HR Developer for the Training and Advocacy Division of the Office of the State Employer (OSE) completing professional assignments to plan, develop, conduct, and evaluate training for supervisors and managers on managing the current and future workforce and enhancing skills for labor relations professionals.
Training & Advocacy HR Developer 9-P11 - Position Description

Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience
Human Resource Developer 9
No specific type or amount is required.
Human Resource Developer 10
One year of professional experience in planning, developing, conducting, or evaluating staff development, training, or other programs equivalent to a Human Resources Developer.
Human Resource Developer P11
Two years of professional experience in planning, developing, conducting, or evaluating staff development, training, or other programs equivalent to a Human Resources Developer, including one year equivalent to a Human Resources Developer 10.Human Resources Developer 9
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.
