SAIC is currently seeking a Senior Training Analyst in Fort Knox, KY.
Job Duties:
- Support of mobilization and operations planning in support of Army mobilization requirements.
- The candidate shall use Sharepoint, MS Teams, unit portals, and Army software/data systems to enable knowledge/understanding for the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP).
- Develop training plans, presentations, and other materials needed for mobilization and exercise training support.
- Attend meetings in person and virtually in support of operations planning and exercise delivery.
- Serve in a wide range of activities to include management and application of simulations within training exercises and military mobilization operations; serve as an expert leveraging Mission Command Information Systems to assist Commanders in operations and training requirements.
- Training is executed in confined training areas and across tactical ranges. Candidate must be willing to work in the training environment and operational conditions.
- Work requirements may exceed the standard workday to include supporting 24-hour Army operations.
- CONUS travel up to 50% is required.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).
- Bachelors of Science Degree (or Equivalent) and three (3) years of related experience required.
- Extensive experience in Army Operations
- Operational knowledge of Army Mission Command Systems and Communication Systems
- Proven experience in army training and mobilization exercises
- Understanding of deployment and use of simulation systems to support Army training.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Understanding of the Sustainment Readiness Model
- Understanding of National Guard mobilization processes
- Knowledge of network compliance and services simulating real-world combat environment
