The Production Trainer will ensure all new and existing employees are properly trained, following all company rules not limited to safety & quality regulations, assist with departmental trainings, and translations. Trainer will also be responsible for completing all assigned retention activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Complete Week 1 & Week 2 questionnaires with all new hires
2. Provide Hazardous Job training as applicable to the department.
3. Verbally translate English/Creole or English/Spanish as needed.
4. Oversee and/or provide all training for the new hire or employees being cross trained not limited to: pairing employee up with a qualified person to train, ensure employee is wearing proper PPE & GMP’s, ensure employee is following all safety rules and practices, proper rotation.
5. Evaluate job performance of current employees and provide feedback to employees/supervisors.
6. Assist with GMP/PPE inspections throughout the department.
7. Assist with completion of exercises at start-up.
8. Ensure all 30-60-90-day evaluations are completed in a timely manner.
9. Teach, reward, and model values of our North Star
10. Assist with monthly & annual required trainings.
11. Serve as a liaison between new hires & leadership in various departments.
12. Perform all other duties as assigned to support business needs.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
· High school diploma preferred.
· Bilingual English/Creole or English Spanish required.
· Strong level of professionalism
· Ability to multitask and work in an environment with rapid change.
· Ability to present in a positive way the face of the company.
· Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously.
· Ability to provide constructive feedback.
· Basic Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Physical Demands
· Work in a variable climate with refrigerated temperatures.
· Lift/Push/pull up to 50#
· Able to stand/walk 8-10 hours per day.
