Trailer Mechanics and Liftgate Technician needed in North Haledon, NJand New Hampton, NY. Preferred experience: body work, brakes, ABS diagnostics, wiring, liftgates, welding, and fabricating
Pay based on experience and overtime available, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Repair trailers
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Qualifications:
- Having experience in welding, construction, fabrication or mechanics is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of shop equipment a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills a plus
- previous work in a shop environment is a plus
Additional Information:
- Day shift positions available for shop work and road service
- Overtime Available
- Apprentice to journeyman level positions available including transport refrigeration service and repair
- Looking for someone with mechanical, welding, and/or fabrication skills
- Willing to train
- Pay rate based on experience
