Under the supervision of the Family Reunification Manager, the TVAP Case Manager will provide case management services to foreign-born survivors of human trafficking. The responsibilities of this position include timely engagement with potential participants, needs assessment and program enrollment, case management and provision of financial assistance, and regular documentation and monthly reporting based on program guidelines. This position is based out of Inspiritus' Nashville office and is intended to serve clients throughout Tennessee. This position requires high proficiency in Spanish.

Position Details:

• Reports to the Family Reunification Manager
• Located in Nashville, Tennessee
• Mostly Virtual/Remote with some on-site required. Travel (0 50%)
• Monday through Friday; 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Annual Compensation - $38,000-$42,000/year

Responsibilities:

• Carries an assigned caseload and assists other Case Managers in providing services to individuals receiving services.
• Makes regular contact and visits to the home, school, training site, or job of the individuals served.
• Advocates for access and facilitates clients' applications for public benefits, including SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, or Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) when eligible.
• Connects participants to pro-bono immigration attorneys wherever possible and establish and maintain a database of pro- or low-bono providers.
• Generates reports according to guidelines, requirements, and procedures including web-based portals and internal reporting procedures.
• Develops and strengthens relationships with relevant community partners, evaluating the appropriateness of referrals to these partners and ensuring clients gain access to needed services.
• Provides funders' contract deliverables to TVAP clients.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in education or human services-related or education field and minimum of two years of previous direct work experience in youth and/or human services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish.
• Experience working in a culturally diverse environment and high level of cultural competence.
• Conviction about the capacity of people to grow and change.
• Ability to set limits and maintain the helping role of the practitioner.
• Excellent computer skills, accurate typing, and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be sensitive to the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
• Must own a personal multi-passenger vehicle, hold a valid state-issued Driver's license, have a good driving record, and have appropriate personal auto insurance.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to talk and hear. Required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, and controls, and reach with hands and arms. Required to operate a personal vehicle.

Employees frequently lift and or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities this job requires include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
