Shift Requirements: 40 hours/week, day shift, occasional overnight travel required

This at-will position serves as the Director of the Traffic Operations Bureau in the Systems Operations Division. The position serves as a key manager within the Systems Operations Division and as a part of the division's leadership team.
As the Traffic Operations Bureau Director, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- The director formulates, implements, and evaluates policy, long-range plans, and goals for the Traffic Operations area, as well as supervises the leaders of these functional areas:
- Transportation Systems Management and Operations Programs
- Emergency Management
- Disaster Response and Recovery
- Continuity of Operations/Continuity of Government (COOP/COG) Plan
- Multi-Agency Coordination for Operations
- Traffic Incident Management
- Work zone Traffic Monitoring
- 511 Traveler Information Systems
- Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Deployment and Maintenance
- Statewide Traffic Management Center
- Safety Service Patrols
