Traffic-Logistics Admin | $19.05/hr
Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm & Saturday, 7:30am-1pm (Depending on workload)
An established meat processing facility located in Fort Dodge, IA is looking for an experienced and reliable Traffic-Logistics Admin to help out their office team! The Traffic-Logistics Admin position will provide support to office staff by implementing administrative systems, procedures and policies, and monitoring administrative projects and transportation tasks. This position will work Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm, and Saturday, 7:30am-1pm, and pays $19.05/hr. Individuals with 1-3 years of traffic logistics or administrative assistant experience are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and answering phones
- Receive and process orders in computer database and monitor shipments
- Verify a variety of documents for accuracy and revising documents as directed
- Schedule transportation and prepare necessary documents for carries and load facilities
- Prepare invoices and shipping documents
- Inform customers of order information and any accessorial changes
- Maintain supplies inventory
- Process paperwork and enter into database
- Maintains operational procedures
- Keep company information confidential
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- Perform data entry of account payable and scan all necessary documents to corporate office
- Update purchase order log and verify for correctness
- Tracking of rendering weights for pick-up
- Maintain clean work space and participate in job and safety training offered
Requirements:
- Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word
- Excellent customer service skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Good attitude
- Traffic logistics and/or administrative assistant experience
