Our client is seeking a Traffic Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their team. Responsibilities:
As a Traffic Equipment Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Installing and maintaining cameras and other equipment that record information about vehicles violating traffic signals or speeding.
- Setting up, operating, and shutting down equipment daily in strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Conducting troubleshooting and repairs on equipment when necessary.
- Continuously monitoring, recording, and optimizing equipment performance throughout your assigned work shift.
- Being adaptable to varying work hours, which may include weekends, early morning shifts, and overnight work.
- Safely operating company-owned vehicles and equipment.
- Maintaining detailed documentation and logs of daily duties completed.
Work Shift: Morning Shift, Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Experience in repairing and maintaining electrical and electronic equipment.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, such as voltmeters and battery testers.
- Basic knowledge of AC/DC power supply theory and applications.
- Competence in basic wire repair and terminations.
- Familiarity with network control systems, including cat-5 and wireless routers.
- Knowledge of digital camera equipment and electronic control systems.
- The ability to work independently, managing time and tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in cable TV or satellite installation is a plus.
- A mostly clean driving record is required.
- Candidates will be subject to a drug test.
